Alex Yelensky

Director of Global Trading

Mr. Yelensky has almost 30 years of experience in the financial markets. His role at AGP is to upgrade all aspects of Alliance Global trading capabilities, rationalizing OMS platforms, implementing CAT standard and solving compliance and profitability issues. His role also includes strengthening existing relationships and cultivating new retail and institutional clients; to increase order flow, achieve cross- and value-added solutions as well as execute all types of equity orders.

Since 1992, Mr. Yelensky has held various roles, starting as a financial advisor with Gruntal & Co. in the early 90s to transitioning into institutional Sales & Trading in the 2000s. For the last 10+ years, Mr. Yelensky has focused on the ever-changing trading landscape worldwide and is tasked to bring the latest capabilities to AGP.

Mr. Yelensky is fluent in Russian, graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Economics, where he was the captain of the water polo team. He continues to play Masters water polo and has a daughter playing for Princeton University and son playing water polo for the US Naval Academy.

Mr. Yelensky has FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 57 and 63 and NFA Series 3 licenses
